Lithuanian ski orienteering championship in sprint, medium and relay
distances year 2002
18-20 of January 2002, Palūšė (Ignalina
district).
Lithuanian orienteering sport federation and orienteering
club Perkūnas organizes competition.
Chief referee Robertas Taškūnas.
Chief secretary Dainius Morkūnas.
Course service chief Mindaugas Blieka.
Competitors are citizens of the Republic of
Lithuania.
Competitors
will compete in classes M/W 21, 35 and 45.
There will be drawn individual lots.
In class M/W 21 there will be a group of 15
strongest sportsmen (10 sportsmen according to the last year results and 5
sportsmen selected by coach of national ski orienteering team).
Relay tem in class W 21 consists of 2 sportsmen
and tem in class M 21 consists of 3 sportsmen.
Attention: this is closed championship.
Competitors that are not citizens of the Republic of Lithuania will compete
only for prizes (if there will be any).
18th (Friday)
-12:00 Arrival of competitors to competition center (Palūšė, Department of Aukštaitija national park).
13:30 Opening ceremony.
14:00 First start in sprint distance.
19th (Saturday)
11:00 First start in medium distance.
18:00 Prize giving ceremony in the center of
town Ignalina.
20th (Sunday)
10:00 First start in relay competition.
18:00 Prize giving and closing ceremonies.
Places are decided according to the time spent
in distance. Winners and medallists in classes M/W 21 will be awarded with
medals and diplomas.
Winners and medallists in classes M/W 35, 45
will be awarded with medals.
Winners and medallists in classes M/W 20 will
be awarded with badges and diplomas.
Competition organization costs are covered by
Lithuanian orienteering sport federation and partially by sportsmen themselves.
Sending organizations or sportsmen themselves pays trips.
Start fee 15 LTL per day plus 2 LTL per day
for SPORTident card rent. You can compete with your own SI card.
Written entries should be presented before 14th
of January 20:00. Additional entries only for adults (18th of January 2002 from
18:00 to 20:00) with 10 LTL fee increase. Entries should be sent by fax +370 2

Price for accommodation is 15 LTL per night.
